Hey guys! So, a little follow-up. We spoke yesterday about your email marketing to your current clients being that’s the low-hanging fruit current clients versus going finding a new client. So, a little follow-up to that is your social media. Let’s use Facebook as an example. For two things you’re when you advertise on Facebook and you mark it on Facebook you could create custom audiences. I mean, of course, you can just shotgun to everybody that Facebook chooses, not a good strategy. You want to narrow that down. So, as an example, if you’re a local business you want to narrow that down to maybe 5 miles 10 miles. Depending on you know how far with customers are willing to travel to you.

And then, of course, you know demographics and profiles and we’ve spoken about that in the past. Here what I want to touch base on it.  If you have that email list and you’re doing those email blasts at regular intervals. You can grab that email list and Facebook will allow you to upload that. So, anyone that’s matching those emails you can create a custom audience.  When you do any type of marketing on Facebook you could target them as well. So, that way these people are seeing you in their email and they’re seeing you on Facebook.

It’s fairly easy to do. This is not a tutorial obviously on how to do that. You can google that and you’ll find plenty of people. I know YouTube showing that. So, that’s another little step and these audiences once it’s created it’s you know it’s just there. So, whenever you’re gonna do some type of Facebook promo that’s already set up depending on you know what your strategy is for the day or for the week. You could either target you know your current customers there. Or whichever other targets you have.

And following up on that since we are talking about Facebook again custom audiences. Another target out is obviously gonna be the people that like your page. So, that’s also part of the low-hanging fruit. These are customers that already know you. So, start with those and then you can expand your audiences in your reach from there.
